I hate my stupid fucking clock, for making me feel like I have all the power. Sometimes I wind the hands forward a month or two and I tell myself that we can play dead for a few hours. Today in the shower I rubbed the Colorado sunburn from my shoulders; minutes stretch to days to decades just not enough. I have a box of rocks in my room from picking up pieces along the way. The only times I feel okay are when thunder cracks through pale morning sky, and quiet moments shared with cigarettes, and sleeping and dreaming of dreaming with you, of kissing you awake and of "now shut up, and show me just how much you don't want me,"

he is twenty-two so his ID isn't fake, and this makes him my closest friend, buying me cancers from the local drug store because he knows that i sleep with the back end of the futon folded up, and how i just can't handle that empty space. you are sixteen and reading freud, an animatronic tribute to broken poetry and boys in lipstick. sometimes i feel as though i'm bleeding out bible verses, and the choruses of dead rock stars. he watched us grow from tangled pre-teenagers, spinal cords twisted and toes intertwined; no empty space left for oxygen, just wet and thickened vocal cords and brush strokes of hair on shoulder blades.

If any of you actually are still active and give a shit, I'm working on building my online portfolio right now. It'll probably be up and running within the week and will, of course, only contain what I think is my best work so far. Almost everything else will be put up on a different website for artistic outtakes - probably a tumblr or blogspot. Everything that is going on either site is being thoroughly edited beforehand, both content and format-wise. A lot of the editing is heading towards my terrible ancient fanfiction- most of which is either not going to be used or going to be entirely re-written to suit original characters. Don't worry
